| Purpose: |
To
review external communications of the Academy for
consistency and appropriateness of message. |
| Chair: |
The
Chair shall be appointed by a resolution of the
Board of Directors from for a term of 2 years. |
| Membership: |
An
additional four (4) members, selected by the committee
chair and the President, shall serve on the committee. |
| Term: |
Members
of the Communication Committee shall serve for a
two (2)-year term. Terms shall be staggered so as
to not all expire at the same time to the extent
and as determined by the Academy Board of Directors. |
| Meetings: |
The
committee shall convene as often as needed (in person
and/or via conference call) to present an appropriate
slate of candidates to the Board each year. |

Review, recommend, and approve postings to the
Academy's website

Develop a public relations plan for the Academy.

Establish, maintain, and enforce appropriate
disciplinary procedures for ethics infractions.

Establish, maintain, and enforce an appeals
process for individuals accused of impropriety.

Establish and recommend changes to the Academy
Board of Directors for an operational code of
ethics for the Academy.
