At the Auditory-Verbal Learning Institute, we produce
multimedia courseware, Family Kits, and other products
that teach Auditory-Verbal Therapy best practices. Using
AVLI distance-learning tools, therapists and educators
can master Auditory-Verbal techniques and earn Continuing
Education Units. Caregivers use AVLI products to enhance
the therapy's effectiveness at home. |

The
Shepherd Centre
The Shepherd Centre is an early intervention, auditory-verbal
program that follows the principles of family centred
practice. Families chose our program because they want
their children to develop spoken language. We have 6 centres
across NSW and ACT providing therapy, audiological and
cochlear implant services, family counselling, professional
training workshops and a wide range of related services.

Research Foundation
Founded in 1958, the Deafness Research Foundation is the
leading source of private funding for basic and clinical
research in hearing science. The DRF is committed to making
lifelong hearing health a national priority by funding
research and implementing education projects in both the
government and private sectors. In effect, DRF is the
"venture capital" arm of hearing research, annually awarding
grants to promising young researchers and established
researchers to explore new avenues of hearing science. |
